Dr. Larry Perich, DO

Dr. Larry Perich is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and has been in practice in the Tampa Bay area since 1983. His practice includes six medical eye center locations in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, including two well-appointed, state-of-the-art surgical facilities.

Dr Perich has been performing oculoplastic surgeries since 1983. He was a pioneering surgeon in performing the Contour Thread Facelift and has trained over 90 plastic surgeons on this technique. He has also taught courses on laser skin resurfacing and endoscopic brow lift techniques. He continues to teach Ophthalmology residents ocular plastic surgeries.

Dr. Perich served as the program director of the Florida Osteopathic Educational Institute Ophthalmology Residency Program from 2012-2019. He continues to dedicate himself to resident education as a core faculty member of the HCA/Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine Graduate Medical Education: Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point Ophthalmology Residency Program.

Born and raised in Warren, Ohio, Dr. Perich graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathy. He completed a rotating internship at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida, and his Ophthalmology Residency at Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Dr. Perich holds Professional Memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Optometric Association (AOA), and the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology (AOCOO).

Dr. Perich has received numerous awards, including a second-year award from Town and Country Medical Center for the highest volume outpatient surgery performed. Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Society Physician of the year. Recognized internationally as a leader in the field of excimer laser surgery, Dr. Perich is a notable expert in no-stitch cataract surgery and the development of new multi-focal intra ocular lens implants and cosmetic laser procedures.

Dr. Tanya Perich, DO

Dr. Perich is a Tampa native. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Tampa, majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish, graduating with Honors, Magna Cum Laude. She earned her medical degree and graduated with Honors, Cum Laude, from LECOM Bradenton, She completed her residency training at Florida Osteopathic Educational Institute. Dr. Perich focuses her concentration in Cataract and Oculoplastic surgery and cosmetic procedures including laser skin resurfacing, ARTAS Robotic Hair Restoration, PRP skin and hair rejuvenation, injectables and neurotoxins.

Dr. Perich is Board Certified in Ophthalmology by the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology. She is a second generation Ophthalmologist. She is the Medical Director of Perich Aesthetics and Rx Performance. In addition to her surgical practice, she participates in resident education as an attending physician at the HCA West Florida GME Consortium Ophthalmology Residency Program. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of the Hillsborough County Osteopathic Medical Society. She previously served as the HCOMS Board Elected Governor (2013-2015) and Treasurer (2016-2018). She is an active member of American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and American Osteopathic Association. 

Dr. Perich resides in Odessa, FL. In her spare time, you can find her riding her horse or spending quality time with her family and her dog. She continues to grow personally, having obtained her Yoga Alliance Registered 200 Hour Teacher Training Certification in 2014, studying metaphysics and various cultures when traveling abroad.

Dr. Maverick Perich is an ophthalmologist at Perich Eye Center. He graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Matthew Miller

Matthew A. Miller OD, received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2009. He is originally from Kennett Square , PA and completed his undergraduate work at the Pennsylvania State University in 2005 with a BS in biochemistry and molecular biology. While at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Miller completed an externship with honors at the Feinbloom Low Vision and Rehabilitation Center, which focused on the treatment and rehabilitation of the blind and impaired patients with such diseases as age-related macular degeneration , diabetic retinopathy and inherited diseases. Dr. Miller also completed his ocular disease training with honors at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Havre de Grace, MD and Optometric Care Inc. in Aliquippa , PA, where he worked in conjunction with cataract, glaucoma and retinal specialists in both primary and tertiary care settings. He enjoys scuba diving, hiking, outdoor activities , music, electronics and trivia and traveling to different destinations. Dr. Miller is active in the Boy Scouts of America when possible and received his Eagle Scout Award in 1999.

 
 

Chase Hutchings, MPAS, PA-C

Chase Hutchings, PA-C joined our practice in 2021. He is a Florida native born in Orlando. Chase completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL with a major in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. He went on to complete his Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Savannah, GA. Following PA school, Chase trained and worked under multiple top physicians at Magruder Eye Institute in Orlando. Chase is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Ophthalmology Physician Assistants. Outside of his career, Chase enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, sailing, and horseback riding. He commonly treats a range of diseases such as diabetic eye disease, age related macular degeneration, and glaucoma among others. He is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and compassionate eye care to each of his patients.
