Dr.
Larry Perich was born and raised in Warren, Ohio. After Graduation
from Warren Western Reserve High School, Dr. Perich Attended the
University of Southern California. He completed his undergraduate
studies Cum Laude with a major in Biochemistry and was awarded the
Bachelor in Science Degree.
Dr. Perich continued his education
at the Chicago College of Osteopathy where he received the degree
of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Perich
completed a Rotating Internship at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, Florida
and participated in an Ophthalmic Basic Science Training Course
at Herman Eye Center, University of Texas, Houston. He then went
on to become Resident of Ophthalmology at Grand Rapids Osteopathic
Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In practice since 1983, Dr. Perich
has two medical eye centers. Both centers include a well appointed,
State-of-the-Art surgical facility. The Perich Eye Center is located
at 2020 Seven Springs Boulevard, New Port Richey, FL and the second
center at 11809 North Dale Mabry, Tampa, Florida.
Dr.
Perich is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and holds Professional
Memberships in the AOA, The American Academy of Ophthalmology and
OCOO.
Among
Dr. Perich's numerous awards, he was presented a second-year award
from Town and Country Medical Center for highest volume outpatient
surgery performed. Recognized internationally as a leader in the
field of excimer laser surgery, Dr. Perich is also a notable expert
in no-stitch cataract surgery and development of new multi-focal
intra ocular lens implants and cosmetic laser procedures.
In
1992, Dr. Perich appeared on international CNN television in a feature
story. Later in the Year, WFLA Television presented Dr. Perich on
their program called "Health News".
